Film critic and journalist, she holds a Diploma in Art Criticism from the Academy of Arts. She writes for Al-Quds Al-Arabi newspaper in London and a number of Egyptian and Arab periodicals. Member of the selection committee for the Egyptian film nominated for the Oscars since 2018. Member of the FIPRESCI Jury at the Ismailia International Film Festival 2019. Member of the selection committee at the Cairo International Film Festival for Children in 2015. Member of the jury for the projects of students at the Film Institute in 2014
